Derek Sheils won both the Open and Grand Final today by a comfortable margin, from Derek McGee and local Micko Sweeney, riding the John Burrows
prepared Cookstown Engineering GSXR1000 winning three on the day. In front of a large gathering of spectators Sheils to be fair got away clean in both races and built up a healthy lead that
neither McGee nor Sweeney could eat into.
Mullingar Missile Derek McGee comes away from the meeting
with a grand total of 3 wins however, having won the Kennedy Motorcycles 600cc,
Sam Dennigan 125\Moto3 and the C&T Supermarket\The Peoples Race 650cc
Supertwins race.
