The 36th running of the Sunflower Trophy race meeting will take place at the Bishopscourt Race Circuit on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd October.
Already
the formidable entry list includes Danny Buchan, hoping to make it
three in a row, BSB Rookie, Glenn Irwin on the Be Wiser Ducati, Gearlink
Team riders, Andrew Irwin, Carl Philips( 600 SUPERSPORT) & James
East Superbike.
TYCO BMW will
field former supermoto star, Christain Iddon, add in, David Haire KMR
Kawasakis, recently crowned irish Champions, Nikki Coates & Jason
Lynn along with ISB regulars, Nico Mawhinny, Gerard Kinghan (MSS
Kawasaki), Cody Nally & Mondello Masters Champion, Robert English
(IFS Yamaha).
British Championship
Moto 3 stars, returning home, include, Richard Kerr, Eugene McManus,
Connall Courtney, Irish Champions, Luke Clements, Jonny Campbell and
Christin Elkin.
Antrim born, Canadian, girl, Stacey Nesbitt will return to the Sunflower meeting, as will Scottish lassie, Gillian McGaw.
Ronnie Donnan Parade Laps
There will be Two Parade Lap sessions for machines of yesteryear;
This year will see some very exotic machinery in action!
John Chapman, well known in the Classic Scene, is bringing over 7 exotic bikes!
including;
500MV Agusta, to be ridden by Ian Lougher, 500 RC161 Honda, to be
ridden by Dan Kneen, ex Freddie Spencer 500 Honda, to be ridden by
Adrain Craig, Ex Roger Burnett 500Rothmans Honda, to be ridden by David
Chapman.
Bangor rider, and former
Irish Superbike champion, Jamie Patterson will bring his ex Kenny
Roberts 500 Yamaha out for the first time, and former Sunflower front
runner, now living in Canada, but returning home for this event, George
Farlow, will ride at 500 RG Suzuki.
Practices will take place on Friday, with three races on Friday evening, Saturday will see a 14 race programme including the Feature Race, the JAS Finlay Sunflower race over 12 laps.
This meeting is also the Final round of the Irish and Ulster Short Circuit Championships.

Hillsborough MCC Facts;
The Club was started in 1947, and celebrates its 70th year next year
The Hillsborough MCC were responsible for the First ever Live Televised moto cross in Ireland
The
club also scored a major coup, when they were the first club to bring
on board Tobacco advertising, in the form of W.D&H.O Wills, who
sponsored the televised Moto Cross .
